Child Dental Benefit Schedule
The Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS) provides basic dental services to children aged between 2 and 17 years.
The patient must be eligible for Medicare on the day of service.
Dental Services Covered
Dental services covered by the CDBS include:
- Dental Examinations
- X-rays
- Cleaning
- Fissure Sealing
- Tooth Fillings
- Root Canals
- Tooth Extractions
- Partial Dentures
The CDBS doesn’t cover orthodontic, cosmetic dental work, or dental services provided in the hospital.
